Job summary

Berkley Care Group is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead care teams and deliver outstanding person-centred care in a luxury UK care home. The role emphasizes compassionate leadership, clear direction, and the empowerment of residents in decision-making processes.

You will manage priorities in a calm, professional environment, maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and medical staff, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive workplace with excellent training and development

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in adult social care settings (including medication management).
• Strong knowledge of quality and clinical governance best practices.
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop and delegate to others in a supportive team.
• Commitment to person-centred care and resident empowerment in decisions.

Do you have the following?

• Previous management experience in adult social care settings, including medication management
• Good knowledge of quality and clinical governance best practices
• The ability to lead, motivate, develop and delegate to others and be part of a supportive team
• Experience of promoting a caring and friendly environment where the philosophy of person-centred care is at the heart of everything you do, including the empowerment of residents to fully participate in all decisions relating to them
• The ability to form relationships with a wide range of people, including residents and their families, the home team and medical professionals
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
