Requirements

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK
• Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
• Knowledge of the care sector, preferably within home care
• Understanding of CQC key lines of enquiry and regulatory frameworks
• QCF Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Experience leading and engaging care teams

A Day in the Life of a Deputy Manager

You will support the Registered Manager in operational management, providing leadership and oversight to ensure safe, responsive, and high-quality care for clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Induction and supervision of new and existing team members
• Conducting care audits and reviewing care plans to ensure person-centred, dignified, and individualised care
• Communicating with families, care professionals, social workers, and clients for holistic care provision
• Monitoring and reporting safeguarding risks and incidents, implementing mitigation processes
• Maintaining accurate administrative records including care notes, medication charts, and meeting notes
