Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead the shop floor, support the team, and ensure the store runs smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You will motivate colleagues, resolve customer queries, and step in during busy moments to help deliver excellent service.

With experience in supervisING medium to large retail teams and a proven track record of achieving high weekly sales, you will manage product categories, store operations, and performance metrics.

• Put people first, every time: Whether you're helping a colleague grow in confidence or making sure a customer leaves with a smile, your leadership will shape the store's atmosphere. You'll coach your team through busy days, guide them to deliver great service, and keep standards high across the board.
• Keep the store thriving: From managing daily tasks to reacting quickly when things change, you'll stay focused and lead with purpose. Whether it's helping your team stay on top of priorities or jumping on the shop floor to lend a hand, you'll make sure the store runs smoothly and feels great to shop in.

Package Salary & Hours

• £37,020 FTE
• This role and location qualifies for a £3,000 FTE Regional Allowance. This allowance is non‑contractual and non‑transferable.
• 44 hours per week
