JAYCO Recruitment is assisting a client in Newcastle upon Tyne to recruit an experienced Deputy Service Manager for a warm, family‑oriented service. The role focuses on ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and maintaining high care standards.

As Deputy, you will support the Service Manager, lead staff teams, and champion person‑centred support for autistic adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions. This is a permanent, 37.5-hour position with a salary of £29,750 per year.

The Role:

Deputy Service Manager – Newcastle upon Tyne

• Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
• Salary: £29,750 per year
• Job Type: Permanent
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

As Deputy Service Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager to support the effective day-to-day running of the service. You will help lead and develop staff teams, promote high standards of person-centered support and ensure the people we support are able to achieve positive outcomes and live fulfilling lives. You will also work collaboratively with external professionals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordinated support.

• Experience leading, supervising or supporting staff teams.
