Job summary

Voyage Care in Dudley is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead a team that helps people build confidence, independence and a life they can be proud of.

As Deputy Service Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead the service and support a dedicated team of colleagues, taking part in on-call duties and ensuring person-centred care and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care management role.
A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
Experience supporting people with acquired brain injury and autism.
Experience working with complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and behaviours of distress.
Strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for supporting others.

Responsibilities

Leading, supporting and developing your team
Creating and reviewing person-centred support plans
Completing care needs assessments
Supporting recruitment, induction, supervisions and appraisals
Completing medication competencies and audits
Attending multi-disciplinary meetings and completing reports
Supporting the Registered Manager with day-to-day running of the service
Taking part in the on-call rota, depending on service needs
Staying hands-on and connected to the people we support

Your Role

As Deputy Service Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead the service and support a dedicated team of colleagues.
