3S Adolescent Care Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead a dedicated team in our residential setting. You will support the Home Manager, supervise carers, and ensure shifts are planned to meet each young person's needs.

The role involves direct work with children, MDT collaboration on site, and ongoing staff development through training and mentoring pathways. The successful candidate will have supervisory experience, at least 12 months in residential care, a valid

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Home Manager in achieving aims and objectives.
• Deputise for the Home Manager when they are away.
• Support and manage the care team to meet the needs of the children and young people.
• Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
• Ensure each shift is planned and resources allocated.
• Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
• Offer supervision and support to carers in line with standards and as directed by the Home Manager.
• Promote MDT approach and lead weekly MDT meetings on site with Clinical and Education services.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Deputy Manager. Working with a strong team, you will help to make a difference to the lives of the young people in our care.

As a deputy manager you will be required to:

• Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation’s missions’ statement and values.
• Deputise for the Home Manager in the event that they are on leave or otherwise absent from the home.
• Support and manage the care team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
• Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
• Ensure each shift is planned and resources allocated.
• Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
• Offer supervision and support to carers in line with Quality Standards & Regulations and as directed by the Home Manager.
• Promote Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) approach and engage/lead weekly MDT meetings with Clinical and Education services on site.

As a successful applicant you will have:

• 1 years’ relevant supervisory experience
• 12 months experience of working in a residential setting with young people with challenging. behaviour, with a minimum of 6 months of these having been at a senior level.
• Experience of acting as appropriate adult.

Qualifications

• Secondary Education with good standard of literacy and numeracy
• Hold a valid Driving licence.

This role includes shift work involving evenings, weekends and sleeps (including a sleep-in allowance) and admin work. Rota 2 days on and 4 off.

Please note the minimum age requirement for this role is 21 years old.
