Job summary

St Philip's Care is recruiting for a Deputy Manager at Ditton Priors Care Centre. You will lead and support a care team to assist the Care Home Manager and ensure high standards of resident care.

You will assess residents’ needs, develop the service to improve quality of life, and communicate warmly with families and external stakeholders. NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or working towards is required; previous deputy manager or senior leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ or QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care or working towards.
• Experience as Deputy Manager or senior/team leader.
• Ability to lead and develop a care team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of staff to support the Care Home Manager.
• Deliver quality care by continually assessing residents' needs and developing the service to enhance quality of life.
• Influence the home’s reputation by communicating professionally with visitors, family and external stakeholders.

Job Role

The successful candidate will have proven senior experience, be able to lead and manage a team of staff to support the Care Home Manager.

You will be responsible for the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our resident's needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance quality of life.

Positively influence the reputation of the home - communicating professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends, and other external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

NVQ or QCF Level 3 Health and Social or working towards.

Deputy Manager or extensive experience as a senior or team leader
