An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in Cardiff. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers.

This is an excellent care home for adults with physical disabilities, offering ensuite rooms with ceiling hoists.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff to deliver high-quality care within a safe environment.
2. Lead nursing teams to provide person-centred care promoting dignity, privacy, safety, independence, and equality.
3. Support resource management, including financial performance and occupancy levels.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
5. Manage the smooth operation of the transitional unit and liaise with external health professionals.
6. Provide clinical leadership and supervision within the service.
7. Accountability for infection control implementation and audit.

Preferred Skills and Experience

1. Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse in a nursing home setting.
2. Leadership experience within a team.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Good IT skills and confidence in computer-based work.
5. A proactive 'can-do' attitude.

• Permanent full-time role, 35 hours/week, day shifts only (12-hour shifts as a nurse).
