Compass Community School Victoria Park, Tipton, is seeking a Deputy Headteacher to shape culture, outcomes and daily life for children with SEMH needs. You will lead teaching and collaborate with the Deputy Director of Education and regional SENCO to secure strong educational results while modelling compassion and resilience.

The role requires QTS, a proven track record of good/outstanding teaching, and the ability to teach GCSE or vocational level.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven record of good or outstanding teaching practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability and willingness to teach GCSE or equivalent vocational level.
• Strong knowledge of primary teaching and learning, including phonics, reading and foundational knowledge.
• Commitment to inclusive practice in an emotionally literate environment.
• Experience supporting SEMH needs and managing challenging behaviour.
• Experience developing engaging curricula meeting individual needs while maintaining high standards.
• Experience engaging hard-to-reach or disengaged families.
