Responsibilities

• Support the Headteacher in leading school improvement, strategic planning and the ongoing development of the academy.
• Lead, motivate and line manage staff, fostering high performance and professional growth.
• Monitor and improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment across the school.
• Use pupil achievement data to evaluate progress, raise standards and support effective intervention.
• Undertake DSL or Deputy DSL responsibilities as required and assume leadership of the school in the Headteacher's absence.
