Horizon Care and Education seek a Deputy Headteacher for the new Oak Hall SEN School in Woking. You will lead strategic educational delivery, align operations with the school’s vision, and work closely with the headteacher to drive excellence for pupils aged 5-19 with diverse complex needs, including autism.

The role requires QTS/QTLS, SEN SLT experience, and strong safeguarding credentials, with a commitment to high standards and collaborative leadership within a values-driven framework.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS qualification required.
• SLT experience in an SEN environment essential.
• Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge required.
• Good working knowledge of OFSTED standards in SEN education.

• Strategically oversee the school’s resources to achieve educational objectives and priorities.
• Collaborate with the headteacher to articulate and implement the school’s vision among all stakeholders.
