Phoenix Arch School is an oversubscribed community SEN school with a strong and supportive staff team. All 55 pupils attending the school have a diagnosis of ASD. The school equips pupils with knowledge, skills, and creativity, preparing them for the next phase of their education and lifelong learning.
Additionally, our school aims to provide comprehensive speech and language assessment, diagnosis (where appropriate), and intervention strategies for children with communication difficulties as an integral part of their educational experience.
We offer tailored learning pathways to ensure pupils access a curriculum and approach to learning suitable for their needs.
We are excited to advertise for a Deputy Head Teacher at Phoenix Arch School; this role offers an excellent opportunity to build and lead an innovative learning provision.
The Deputy Head Teacher will support the Head Teacher with daily management and take a lead role in the school's strategic direction. The Deputy will deputise and assume full responsibility for the school in the Head's absence. As part of the leadership team, the Deputy Head will help shape the school's culture, vision, aims, and objectives, establish policies, manage staff and resources, and monitor progress toward these goals.
