We are seeking an inspiring Deputy Head Teacher to champion excellence in Teaching & Learning, Curriculum, and English, starting September 2025. This exciting role includes a morning teaching commitment in Year 6, blending leadership and classroom practice to shape a vibrant learning culture.

You're an ambitious and reflective leader with a proven track record of driving school improvement. You believe in the power of inclusive education and understand how high-quality teaching can transform lives. You’re ready to empower staff and ignite children's love for learning—especially through literacy and rich curriculum experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the strategic development of Teaching & Learning and the English curriculum
  • Model outstanding classroom practice with a teaching commitment in Year 6 mornings
  • Promote high expectations for pupil achievement and staff development
  • Coach and mentor teachers to embed best practices and raise standards
  • Contribute to whole-school improvement planning as a core member of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Foster a school culture that is aspirational, supportive, and joyful
