Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. are assisting a Salisbury junior school in its search for a Deputy Head Teacher to start immediately through to Christmas.

This is a full-time, non-classroom based leadership position in a junior school, based in Salisbury. The successful candidate will have strong senior leadership experience (SLT) and be able to support the wider leadership of the school, with occasional teacher release required.

Qualifications

• Proven SLT experience at senior leadership level.
• Experience in non-classroom based leadership roles.
• Immediate start and availability through to Christmas.

Responsibilities

• Support the wider leadership of the school.
• Lead as Deputy Head in absence of Headteacher.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous SLT experience who is confident supporting the wider leadership of a school. The role will be primarily non-classroom based, with only occasional teacher release required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
