Job summary

Melbourne Grammar School seeks an experienced educational leader to join its Wadhurst middle school for boys in Years 7 and 8 as Deputy Head of Wadhurst. Deputy Head of Wadhurst

Melbourne Grammar School is seeking an educational leader to join our purpose-built middle school for boys in Years 7 and 8, as Deputy Head of Wadhurst.

Commencing in 2027, this is an outstanding opportunity for a leader to make a meaningful contribution to the development of young people during one of the most important stages of their educational journey. Working closely with the Head of Wadhurst and the Middle School Executive, you will play a key role in shaping campus culture, supporting student wellbeing, leading staff, overseeing campus operations and contributing to the strategic direction of the School.

As Deputy Head of Wadhurst, you will help create an environment where every student is known, supported and challenged to achieve their personal best.

This is an ongoing, full-time teaching position, with the Deputy Head of Wadhurst opportunity offered as a position of responsibility with a 5 year tenure.

This opportunity will see you:

• Support student leadership, service learning and House-based initiatives that enrich the student experience.
• Play a key role in the daily leadership and operation of the Wadhurst campus, including timetabling, events and student administration.

• Deputise for the Head of Wadhurst and contribute to the strategic direction and ongoing success of the Middle School.
