Job summary

The Kingswood Foundation Prep School is seeking an exceptional Deputy Head for September 2027 to lead day-to-day operations, organisation and ongoing development of the Prep School. Working with the Head, staff, pupils and families, you will ensure an outstanding experience for every pupil and a smooth, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior leadership within a school.
• Ability to lead day-to-day operations and implement strategic plans.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare; DBS checks will be required.
• Excellent organisational and people-management skills.

For September 2027, we are seeking an exceptionalDeputy Headto join our senior leadership team and play a central role in the day-to-day leadership, organisation and continued development of the Prep School.

This is a highly visible and influential role. Working closely with the Head, staff, pupils and families, the Deputy Head will ensure that the school operates smoothly, efficiently and with a clear focus on delivering an outstanding experience for every pupil.

As a member of the Foundation Leadership Team, the Deputy Head will also contribute to the wider strategic direction of the Kingswood Foundation, helping to ensure that the Prep School continues to thrive as a nurturing, ambitious and forward-looking community.

We are looking for someone who combines energy, warmth and excellent organisational skills with genuine leadership presence. You will be equally comfortable thinking strategically, solving practical problems, supporting colleagues and being fully immersed in the daily life of the school.
