Job summary

Kingswood School seeks an exceptional Deputy Head for September 2027 to join our senior leadership team. The role focuses on day-to-day leadership, organisation and continued development of the Prep School, ensuring an outstanding pupil experience.

Working closely with the Head, staff, pupils and families, you will contribute to the Foundation Leadership Team and shape the strategic direction of the Prep School within a nurturing, ambitious community.

Job description

For September 2027, we are seeking an exceptional Deputy Head to join our senior leadership team and play a central role in the day-to-day leadership, organisation and continued development of the Prep School.

This is a highly visible and influential role. Working closely with the Head, staff, pupils and families, the Deputy Head will ensure that the school operates smoothly, efficiently and with a clear focus on delivering an outstanding experience for every pupil.

As a member of the Foundation Leadership Team, the Deputy Head will also contribute to the wider strategic direction of the Kingswood Foundation, helping to ensure that the Prep School continues to thrive as a nurturing, ambitious and forward-looking community.

We are looking for someone who combines energy, warmth and excellent organisational skills with genuine leadership presence. You will be equally comfortable thinking strategically, solving practical problems, supporting colleagues and being fully immersed in the daily life of the school.
