Job Description

Job Title: Deputy Head Housekeeper

Location: St Andrews, Fife

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Our absolute focus is delivering a personalised, luxury experience to all guests, building relationships and anticipating their every need. As Deputy Head Housekeeper you will assist the Executive Housekeeper with the day-to-day running of the Housekeeping department.

A little bit about what you will be doing:

• Provide a friendly and efficient service through effective recruitment, induction, training and development policies as measured by low turnover, high guest satisfaction.
• Ensure everything is in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist with all staff training, to ensure all staff deliver a superior cleaning service in rooms and all public areas to standards laid down by Executive Housekeeper.
• Check rooms and public areas daily, completing any cleaning duties as necessary.
• Coordinate all staff training, keep records up to date, and ensure staff attend all relevant training courses.
• Ensure all equipment used by associates is checked and cleaned regularly.

Qualifications

• Service-focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required.
• Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders.
• Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture, and set the scene for high performance.
