Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester seeks a Deputy Head of Business Intelligence (Diagnostics) to shape diagnostic intelligence across Greater Manchester. You will lead analytics strategy, BI development and high-quality reporting to inform decisions and service improvement.

Working with senior clinical and executive leaders, you will oversee dashboards and visualisations, drive demand and capacity modelling, and translate complex requirements into actionable analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of innovative business intelligence solutions to inform diagnostic performance, capacity, demand and patient pathways.
• Provide day-to-day leadership within the BI function, overseeing dashboards, performance reports and visualisations to support performance management, operational delivery and strategic decisions.
• Identify intelligence needs and translate complex requirements into effective analytical solutions.
• Promote best practice in data visualisation, statistical analysis and reporting, including demand and capacity modelling, forecasting and service transformation.
• Bring experience in healthcare analytics and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
