Working pattern: 1 day per week in the office

Salary: £50,879 - £61,154

Contract: Permanent

The role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Deputy Finance Manager to support the effective financial management of our Housing Revenue Account (HRA). This is a key role within the Finance team, helping ensure the delivery of high-quality, affordable housing services for our residents.

You will assist in the preparation and monitoring of HRA budgets, provide insightful financial analysis, lead on key aspects of financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making across housing services. You will also supervise a small team, ensuring strong financial controls and compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.

About you
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of local authority finance, ideally including HRA
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
