Position: Deputy Engineering Manager

Location: Brackley area, part of the Twyford to Greatworth (T2G) team.

This role involves supporting the Engineering team and collaborating closely with the construction team on daily activities. Responsibilities include identifying and mitigating engineering risks, reviewing and accepting WPPs (RAMS) and ITPs, and coordinating with Quality, Environmental, and Construction Support teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and execute temporary works, ensuring coordination and integration with permanent works.
2. Provide technical support and guidance on SCEW matters, NCRs, design changes, material approvals, shop drawing reviews, and testing.
3. Oversee accurate redlining of design changes and support technical assurance activities such as audits and reviews.
4. Liaise with Designers and Construction Support teams to resolve FCRs and TQs.

About You

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with major civil engineering and large infrastructure projects.
• Previous similar role experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer.
• Ability to coordinate workloads effectively.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle.
• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS card (White, Yellow, Red, Black, or Gold).
