About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture that combines expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction, and BAM Nuttall. These partners specialize in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including Europe's latest high-speed rail projects.

We are seeking a Deputy Engineering Manager to join our Twyford to Greatworth (T2G) team based in the Brackley area.

This role involves supporting the Engineering team and collaborating closely with the construction team on daily matters. Responsibilities include identifying and mitigating engineering risks, reviewing and accepting WPPs (RAMS) and ITPs on behalf of the Engineering Manager, and coordinating with Quality, Environmental, and Construction Support teams.
You will oversee the management and execution of temporary works, ensuring proper coordination, integration, and execution of both permanent and temporary works designs. The role also involves providing technical support and guidance to the construction teams, including handling SCEW matters, NCRs, design changes, material approvals, shop drawing reviews, temporary works design reviews, and testing processes.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing the redlining of design changes, supporting technical assurance activities like audits and reviews, and liaising with the Designers Construction Support team to resolve FCRs and TQs.
