Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - Royal Liverpool Hospital site is looking for a Deputy Endoscopy Manager.
Minimum of 2 years endoscopy experience required
The post holder will work independently and take charge of the Endoscopy unit in the absence of the department manager, who retains ongoing responsibility.
Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating care programmes, providing effective leadership and staff management/development. The post holder will adhere to the NMC’s Code of Professional Conduct.
Coordinate the daily operations of the Endoscopy department, including planning, allocation, and evaluation of work by teams or individuals.
Provide specialist knowledge to all nursing staff within the department.
Promote a critical and analytical approach to nursing care, ensuring the environment responds to current issues.
Assist the department manager in reviewing and updating procedures and protocols related to patient care.
Develop methods to identify, maintain, and improve patient care quality through best practice and clinical benchmarking.
Respect the customs, values, and spiritual beliefs of patients/clients.
Explore and undertake expanded practice within the specialist area to optimize patient care, in line with Trust policies.
