Job summary

Ofgem, the energy regulator for Great Britain, seeks a Deputy Director to shape the future organisation and operating model at a pivotal moment. You’ll influence structures, culture and capabilities at an organisation-wide level, collaborating with the CEO, Executive Committee and Board to steer long-term decisions.

We’re looking for a Deputy Director of Future Organisation and Operating Model to help define what Ofgem needs to become and ensure we’re ready for the challenges ahead. Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. We’re at the forefront of change across the energy sector, driving toward Net Zero whilst protecting energy consumers – especially vulnerable people.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to shape the future of a nationally significant regulator at a pivotal moment for the energy sector. You’ll have the scope to influence Ofgem at an organisation-wide level, helping determine the structures, culture, capabilities and ways of working that will enable us to remain effective, trusted and ready for the future.
