Job description

The energy sector is changing rapidly, and Ofgem needs to evolve with it. We’re looking for a Deputy Director of Future Organisation and Operating Model to help define what Ofgem needs to become and ensure we’re ready for the challenges ahead. Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. We’re at the forefront of change across the energy sector, driving toward Net Zero whilst protecting energy consumers – especially vulnerable people.

About the Role

This is a role with genuine reach, giving you the platform to challenge thinking, bring fresh ideas to the table and leave a lasting legacy on how Ofgem operates. You’ll be joining a brand-new team with the opportunity to help define it from the ground up. From shaping its culture and ways of working to establishing how it collaborates and creates impact across Ofgem, you’ll have the chance to build a team and a working environment that reflects your experience, ideas and leadership.
