Job summary

Sandwell Academy in West Bromwich is seeking a talented Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding and child protection across the academy. You will work under the leadership of the Designated Safeguarding Lead to protect students and ensure safeguarding compliance.

The role requires emotional resilience, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. 37.5 hours per week, term time plus training days, with a competitive salary.

The Academy is seeking to appoint a talented Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, who will be responsible for supporting the safeguarding functions of the Academy, under the leadership of the Designated Safeguarding Lead. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of safeguarding, and will require emotional resilience, excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
