Job summary

QinetiQ Group plc in Bristol is seeking a Deputy Commercial Manager to provide commercial support across a diverse portfolio of projects within a regulated defence environment. You will work as a commercial contributor, supporting tenders, contracts, and integrated delivery teams, with onsite presence required.

The role requires experience in a highly regulated industry, membership or accreditation in professional bodies (IACCM, CIPS/MCIPS), and willingness to travel between QinetiQ sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a Commercial setting within a highly regulated industry such as Defence or Aerospace.
• Accredited to IACCM (WCC) member status or higher.
• CIPS or MCIPS qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support to a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Act as a commercial contributor across Integrated Delivery Teams.
• Assist with tenders and contracts, including non-standard and medium complexity.
• Travel to QinetiQ sites as required and maintain SC clearance eligibility.

Job description

As the Deputy Commercial Manager, you'll have a role that is out of the ordinary, where you will provide commercial support to a diverse portfolio of projects, across multi-disciplined Integrated and Delivery Teams as required in accordance with the established Business and Commercial strategy. You will be working as an individual Commercial contributor across and in support of a broad Business Portfolio or as part of an Integrated Capture / Delivery Team where you will demonstrate general commercial acumen on tenders and contracts which are typically non-standard, of low to medium complexity, or supporting senior commercial staff on major projects, or new business campaigns.,

• Drafting, law and Practice Competence - Confident in a range of different agreements (pre-and-post award), This role is 37 hours per week and is based out of our Bristol facility with an expectation of being onsite 3 days per week on average and will require travel to various QinetiQ sites such as Boscombe Down, Farnborough and Abbeywood.
