Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Deputy Governance Coordinator to support the Surgical Services Governance Team. The role involves advising staff on governance, contributing to multidisciplinary meetings and producing timely reports.

The post may require weekend and night work to support Bronze Command, with opportunities for training and development within the NHS Trust.

Qualifications

• Registered Health Care Professional with valid and current registration.
• First degree or equivalent; working towards may be acceptable.
• Completed national practice assessor training or equivalent teaching/assessing qualification.
• Evidence of post graduate level study or equivalent via short courses/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support on governance issues to staff.
• Contribute to governance agendas at multidisciplinary meetings.
• Report timely, accurate governance information to senior colleagues.
• Be available for weekend/night work to support Bronze Command as required.
