Job summary

ConSol Partners is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Security Officer to lead operational delivery of the cyber security roadmap in a regulated UK environment. You will report to the CISO as second-in-command, steering complex technology domains and deputising across executive risk and regulatory forums.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex cyber security programmes in regulated environments.
• Hands-on leadership with delivery focus beyond strategy.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, UK NCSC.
• Ability to deputise for the CISO in governance and risk forums.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary deputy for the CISO across CIO leadership, board-level risk committees, and regulatory engagements.
• Own the operational execution of the cyber roadmap; sequence initiatives, remove blockers, and drive delivery performance across complex environments.
• Work across Engineering, Data, Architecture, Governance, and Operations to embed security directly into change delivery frameworks.
• Lead operational governance, track KPIs/KRIs, and manage remediation plans resulting from audits, assurance, and regulatory reviews.
• Act as an operational leader during cyber incidents, overseeing response plans, playbooks, and post-incident remediation.
