Job summary

Crystal Care Solutions is seeking a passionate Deputy Children's Manager to lead our team in providing therapeutic care to children and young people in our residential homes.

The successful candidate will deputise for the Registered Manager, oversee staff supervision, ensure safeguarding compliance, and plan shifts including sleep-ins. You will collaborate with external professionals to promote positive outcomes and a stable home environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a supervisory or management role in residential care
• 2 years’ experience working in residential childcare
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Willingness to complete Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification
• Excellent understanding of child development, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding
• Proven team leadership, organisation, and delegation skills
• Knowledge of regulations and legal frameworks in residential care
• Full UK Driving Licence
