Job summary

TKMS ATLAS UK is seeking a Deputy Chief Engineer to lead systems engineering across the Submarine Systems Division and shape technical direction for RN and export programmes. Reporting to the Divisional Chief Engineer, you will act as System Design Authority, chair reviews, mentor staff, and drive the engineering lifecycle from concept to in-service support.

Qualifications

• Experience across the engineering lifecycle, including design, analysis and testing.
• Strong systems engineering background to define solutions.
• Experience leading engineering teams on complex programmes.

Responsibilities

• Chair technical reviews across projects within the division.
• Define and analyze mission and operational problems to identify solutions.
• Own the design approach for equipment and systems division-wide.
• Support Product Managers with roadmaps and technology strategy.
