Job summary

Stow Healthcare Group is seeking a Deputy Chef in Huntingdon to support the Head Chef in delivering fresh, nutritious meals for elderly residents. This part-time role (20 hours per week) runs 8am–6pm, with alternate weekends.

You will help maintain SFBB standards and contribute to residents’ well-being through quality food and care. The ideal candidate has professional kitchen experience, is adaptable to dietary needs, and demonstrates excellent English communication and a caring, flexible

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen.
• Able to adapt to dietary requirements.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Caring, flexible and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh meals for elderly residents.
• Supported by Head Chef to maintain quality.
• Keep kitchen clean and SFBB compliant.
• Available to work alternate weekends.
