We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Deputy Sister/Deputy Charge Nurse.

As Deputy Ward Sister/Deputy Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring patient and user involvement in care. You will provide evidence that feedback is used to maintain standards and implement improvements affecting care.
You will be an effective leader and role model, providing direct clinical care and ensuring effective use of non-clinical time to support clinical and non-clinical governance, facilitating service modernisation.
You will manage staff, ensuring standards and quality of care, including the environment, are maintained and improved.
Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care is provided to all patients. Collaborate with the Matron and Ward Manager to identify issues affecting care quality, develop action plans, and ensure improvements are implemented.
Work with the multi-professional team to ensure a satisfactory patient experience, with ongoing evaluation and pathway redesign as needed. This role covers days, weekends, and nights.
