Job summary

Leaders in Care is hiring a Deputy Home Manager for a large residential and dementia care home in Liverpool. You will work alongside the Home Manager to lead a large team, ensure high standards of person-centred care, and maintain compliance with CQC.

This non-nursing role does not require an NMC PIN, but Deputy Managers with an NMC background are welcome. Salary £50,000 per annum with progression to Home Manager within 18 months and access to development pathways.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding
• Experience supporting large care teams and residents with dementia

Are you an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager or Deputy Residential Home Manager looking for your next opportunity in Liverpool?

We are working with an established elderly care provider to recruit a non-clinical Deputy Home Manager for a large, well-established residential and dementia care home in the Liverpool area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager who enjoys being visible on the floor, supporting care teams and working closely with the Home Manager to maintain high standards of care, compliance and resident experience.

This is a non-nursing position and does not require an NMC PIN, Nurse qualified Deputy Managers are more than welcome to appy however!

The Deputy Home Manager Role

Working alongside the Home Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the care home.

What We're Looking For

We would particularly like to hear from experienced Deputy Managers working within residential care homes for older people.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Deputy Care Home Manager, Deputy Residential Home Manager or Senior Care Manager
• Experience working within an elderly residential or dementia care setting
• Experience of supporting the management of a larger care home would be advantageous
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, DoLS and the Mental Capacity Act
• A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or be working towards/relevant equivalent experience
