Job summary

Harbour Healthcare Limited is seeking a Deputy Care Home Manager (Nurse Qualified) at the Barrington Lodge Care Home in Bishop Auckland. You will lead the home alongside the Home Manager, ensuring compassionate, person-centred care and clinical excellence.

This role requires a Registered Nurse with leadership experience in a 60+ bed setting, strong dementia and general nursing skills, and solid knowledge of CQC regulations.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in a leadership role within a 60+ bed care home.
• Strong dementia and general nursing care background.
• Confident knowledge of CQC regulations.

About the Role

As Deputy Care Home Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading the home and supporting the Home Manager to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. You'll guide and inspire your team, ensuring residents receive the highest standards of dignity, respect, and clinical excellence.

You'll be hands-on, visible, and proactive creating a positive environment for residents, families, and staff alike.
