As the Deputy Branch Operations Manager (DBOM), you'll lead and inspire our team, ensuring top-notch service delivery to our clients. You'll keep the team well-trained, motivated, and ready to provide exceptional service. Plus, you'll manage expenditures to maintain efficiency and quality across all sites.
Job Details
- Shifts: Monday - Friday, with a requirement to be on call out of hours as part of a rotated schedule
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Pay: £36,000 + £5,400 car allowance
- Location: Normanton
- Travel: Occasional travel to the Barrow-in-Furness area
- Hybrid: Flexible work from home options based on requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate our branch team to deliver excellent service, ensuring all staff are trained and engaged.
- Demonstrate understanding of Securitas Core Values: Integrity, Vigilance, Helpfulness, prioritizing safety and compliance.
- Proactively plan workforce resourcing and training to meet operational needs.
- Ensure client and company standards are met, managing staff retention and performance.
- Manage costs effectively to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Monitor KPI results and client satisfaction levels.
- Oversee expenditure and ensure all site documentation and risk assessments are current and understood.
- Conduct site security audits and collaborate with the Branch Operations Manager on improvements.
- Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for service enhancements and new solutions.
- Promote employee engagement, diversity, and inclusivity initiatives.
- Achieve operational performance targets including efficiency, employee turnover, and inclusion metrics.
- Conduct regular welfare visits, manage performance issues, and support staff development.
- Lead talent management, succession planning, and training initiatives.
- Contribute to company strategy and review employee turnover and exit interview insights.
- Provide team support, feedback, and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- SIA license
- Driving license
- 5+ years of employment or education history
- Right to work in the UK
- At least 1 year in operational management
- 5+ years in the security industry
- Commercial awareness, flexibility, and excellent time management
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Understanding of health & safety and business intelligence tools
