We are seeking a capable and collaborative Deputy Academic Registrar to join a vibrant and future-focused academic community in Oxford, on a five-month maternity cover contract.
This role sits at the heart of a small, friendly, and dynamic College Office team in one of the University of Oxford s graduate colleges. About the Role
Reporting to the Academic Registrar, the Deputy Academic Registrar is a pivotal figure in delivering high-quality academic support across the student lifecycle from admissions and induction to progression, examinations, and graduation.
You will lead on student-facing processes, maintain the accuracy of key data systems (e.g. eVision), provide guidance to students and staff on academic matters, and support student welfare through liaison with internal and external services. As a manager, you ll also supervise the day-to-day work of two College Office staff and deputise for the Academic Registrar as required.
You ll work closely with the Senior Tutor, Fellows, administrative colleagues, and central university departments to ensure our students receive a professional, well-coordinated, and compassionate academic experience.
