Job summary

DPD UK is seeking an experienced Shift Manager at Middleton Depot to strengthen our depot operations team. You will drive operational performance, ensure compliance, and deliver outstanding customer service while managing a high performing team of drivers and warehouse operatives.

The role requires strong communication, decisive leadership, and the ability to analyse data, with responsibilities across HR tasks and procedure adherence within ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced operation with people management responsibility.
• Strong communication skills to inspire and lead a team.
• Decisive and effective decision-making, time management skills.
• Resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.
• Excellent computer skills with Google Chrome applications.
• Ability to produce comprehensive reports and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee depot operations to achieve objectives related to operational performance.
