Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking a Depot Plant Fitter in Glasgow to service, maintain and repair a range of advanced plant machinery. You will diagnose faults, carry out servicing and attend on-site breakdowns for customers, while managing your own field workload.

The role offers a Monday–Friday daytime rota with London-style progression opportunities in a main dealer environment and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience working on plant, agricultural, or similar equipment is required.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

The Role

As a Depot Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of advanced plant machinery,

Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing plant machinery- Loading shovels, Excavators, Screeners etc
• Servicing breakdowns and scheduled maintenance on customer sites
• Carrying out routine servicing and compliance inspections
• Providing a high level of technical support and customer service
• Managing your own workload effectively in a field-based role

About You

• Previous experience working on plant, agricultural, or similar equipment
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) ideally
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and represent the business professionally
