Job summary

Breedon Holdings LTD is recruiting a Depot Operative for our Theale Cement Depot. You will be responsible for the safe distribution and receipt of cement by road and rail, operating the bulk storage and loading plant, and ensuring high standards of site hygiene and safety.

Key duties include rail off loading, stock checks, and collaboration with the Admin supervisor on warehouse issues. The role offers full training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Strong health and safety awareness with the ability to assess risk.
Responsible for safety of themselves and others by following safe working practices.

Responsibilities

Operate bulk storage and out loading plant efficiently.
Rail off loading and monitoring loads before departure.
Collect and analyse production samples.
Conduct regular safety, environmental and permit checks and record keeping.
Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping and first line maintenance.
Liaise with Admin supervisor on warehouse issues.
General depot operations including equipment handling.
Perform stocktaking and maintain site profile to high standards.
