Depot Operations Supervisor

This role is 40 hours per week, working any 5 of 6 days (closed Sundays).

The Depot Operations Supervisor reports to the Retail Sales & Operations Manager (RSOM), who has overall responsibility for the depot and service across:

  1. Customer Services
  2. Delivery fleet
  3. Cold store Warehouse

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £14.00 per hour + bonus + benefits.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing health & safety, stock, delivery fleet, and facilities.
  • Participating in daily tasks such as deliveries and picking (full UK driving license required).

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Supervisory experience leading and motivating teams.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with IT systems.

  • Full UK Manual driving license.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in retail, wholesale, customer service, or logistics.
  • Knowledge of P&L and budget management.
  • Health & safety and food safety training.
  • Coaching and team development experience.
  • Operational policy implementation.

Personal Qualities:

  • Positive attitude, tenacity, and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and accountability.
  • Customer-focused and community-oriented.
  • Hands-on leadership, including driving or picking roles.

You must have held a UK manual driving license for at least 2 years. All offers are subject to driving assessments, license checks, and DBS checks, as this role involves working with vulnerable customers. Disclosure is required under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
