Qualifications

• Experience as Depot Manager/Transport Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation and Operator Licence compliance.
• Proven leadership of drivers and operational teams.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing budgets and achieving KPIs.
• CPC qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the depot.
• Manage and support a team of drivers and operational staff.
• Coordinate workloads, schedules and resources for efficient service delivery.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.
• Build relationships with customers and resolve issues that arise.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage costs and help the depot achieve its performance targets.
• Ensure high standards of service, teamwork and communication across the site.
