Job summary

DPD UK is recruiting a Distribution Centre Manager to lead the depot's day-to-day operations within a fast-paced, 24/7 setting. You will drive Health & Safety, productivity, service levels and cost control while managing a team of over 250 colleagues.

You will liaise with Directors, influence strategy, and demonstrate decisive decision-making in high-pressure environments, upholding DPD DNA values and delivering best-in-class service nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or distribution operations, including large, 24/7 sites.
• Daily throughput of 25,000+ and workforce over 250.
• Confident communicator capable of leading and influencing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site management of the depot.
• Achieve Health & Safety, security, productivity, transport and cost objectives.
• Deliver outstanding service with a team driven to be the best.
• Provide a safe, healthy environment for all staff.
• Set productivity and service level targets and manage via plans and reports.
