Job summary

Evri Group is hiring an Operational Leader Apprentice to join the Depot Operations Team in September 2026. The scheme develops future leaders through hands-on exposure to operations and leadership responsibilities from day one.

You will learn to manage operational processes, drive KPIs, support coaching and people development, and complete a Supply Chain Leadership Level 6 Apprenticeship with structured training.

Qualifications

• 112 UCAS points from A levels (including at least 64 points from two A levels) or equivalent BTEC National qualifications plus English, and Maths at C (4/5) or above
• At least 2 years work experience or 1 year in a supervisory role
• Driving licence

Responsibilities

• Help run operational shifts and promote best practices to improve performance.
• Understand and manage budgets to help achieve operational targets.
• Support and motivate teams through coaching and engagement.
• Assist with shift planning and rota management to maximise productivity.
• Use data to spot trends and identify ways to improve cost, service, and quality.
• Ensure quality, service, safety and security standards are met.
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor and provide guidance.
• Support continuous improvement projects and help implement operational changes.
• Build strong relationships across teams and levels.
