Job summary

Speedy Group is recruiting for a depot operational assistant in the UK. You will be involved in deliveries/collections, stock control, and assisting customers at the hire desk. The role emphasizes flexibility and work-life balance with various hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

The position offers a salary of £29,572 per annum pro rata, with additional life assurance, pension, staff discounts, training opportunities, and wellbeing support. DBS/clearance may be required for some roles.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving licence.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to adapt quickly to support others.
• Ability to back the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Drive deliveries and/or collections within the depot.
• Assist with vehicle loading/unloading.
• Perform electrical testing of equipment.
• Manage stock control.
• Serve customers on the hire desk.
