Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Poole is seeking a General Assistant to help run the depot smoothly. You’ll work Mon–Fri, 07:30–17:00 (42 hours), with flexible hours and potential job-share arrangements, including deliveries, loading/unloading, and serving customers at the hire desk.

You’ll need a driving licence and basic computer skills, with strong verbal and written communication and the ability to adapt quickly to support the team and our ESG Decade to Deliver initiative.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written
• Ability to adapt quickly to support others
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and/or collections.
• Assisting with vehicle loading/unloading.
• Electrical testing of equipment, stock control, or serving customers on the hire desk.
