Operational Control - Ensure people, vehicles, and processes work together seamlessly every single day.

Compliance & Safety - Keep transport operations, driver hours, and documentation fully compliant.

Fleet Coordination - Work closely with workshop teams to keep vehicles safe, legal, and ready for action.

Budget Ownership - Monitor costs, improve efficiency, and protect profitability.

Contractor Management - Ensure external providers meet every legal and operational requirement.

What You Bring

Strong leadership experience in an operational environment - waste sector experience is a bonus

Proven ability to coach, develop, and manage people

Commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets and performance

Excellent communication skills and solid IT ability

Full UK driving licence (LGV Class 2 desirable)
