GAP Group is seeking a proactive Labourer to join our Non-Mechanical Division in Tilbury. You will help keep the workshop and yard clean, prep equipment for hire, and support the wider team to deliver excellent service across construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

This hands-on role offers real career progression within a family-run business with 50+ years of experience. CSCS card and forklift licence are advantageous, and there are opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labourer role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment.
• Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues.
• CSCS card, forklift licence, and driving licence are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
• Cleaning equipment and store it in an orderly fashion.
• Quality-checking equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it's hire-ready.
• Assisting with general workshop duties as required.
• Carrying out driving duties (subject to licence) and assisting Drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Operating forklift when necessary.
