GAP Group Limited is seeking a proactive Labourer to support our Trenching & Shoring Division from our depot. You will help keep the workshop and yard clean, prepare hire equipment, and assist with delivery/collection to customer sites in a safe, timely manner.

The role suits someone who works well in a busy, hands-on environment and takes pride in safety and order. A driving licence is required; CSCS and forklift licences are advantageous, with clear progression opportunities within a growing

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labourer role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment.
• Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative in a busy environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Driving licence required and a CSCS card and/or forklift licence are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free
• Cleaning equipment and store it in an orderly fashion
• Quality‑checking equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it's hire‑ready
• Assisting with general workshop duties as required
• Loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a safe, timely and professional manner, ensuring all relevant checks and associated administration are completed accurately
