Job summary

GAP Group Limited is recruiting a General Manager to lead a busy depot within our Plant & Tool Division. You will own your Profit Centre, shape strategy, and direct a high‑performing team to deliver exceptional service to construction, utilities and infrastructure customers.

You’ll manage recruitment, training, purchasing and supplier relations, identify revenue growth opportunities with new and existing clients, and drive quality and compliance through audits and customer visits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a depot or field service environment.
• Strong commercial sense with experience in P&L management or profit-centre ownership.
• Knowledge of Plant & Tool equipment and customer base is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing your depot team to drive performance and exceed customer expectations
• Managing your own Profit Centre, influencing all aspects of depot operations; from recruitment and training to purchasing equipment and supplies
• Identifying opportunities to grow revenue with new and existing customers
• Ensuring quality and compliance through audits and regular customer visits
